Easy Homemade Card
I found this link for a cute button card at Randi's "I have to Say". You have to go check it out! It has a free download pdf--can't get any better than that.
I'm making one of these cards as a birthday card. I've got to go get busy.

Third Day Rocks!
WOW! We had a great time at the Third Day Concert. Trenton brought his guitar. :) We had great seats, thanks Mama Gomer! Trenton was rather subdued, but took it all in. Actually it was sort of overwhelming: the lights, the loudness, the jumping, etc. But it was great fun. Bethany and Marissa loved it too. Bethany clapped and danced the entire evening.
My one big disappointment was that my camera took awful pictures! I don't have a good zoom, so even though we weren't in the "nose bleed" section--it sure looked like it. Marissa may have taken some better ones on my cell phone. I'll have to check those out. I did ask a stranger sitting in front of us if she'd email us some of her pictures. She said she would, I'm still waiting. But, go to their website and what they look like there--they looked just like that.
The concert was very God-honoring and focused on worshipping Him. It was great!
Baby Goats
Saturday we visited the softest, newest baby goats. A friend and farmgirl, Pat, has 17 new baby goats--and more on the way! That's a lot of kids!
Having trouble posting pictures~~so be on the look-out hopefully soon for pictures of the baby goats and in a separate post--the THIRD DAY CONCERT!!
Edited: okay so two pictures are added. The top picture is a white angora goat named Willa. She is so sweet. Oreo is in the bottom picture with Trenton. They are so tiny.

Lack of creativity and a loose tooth
I am here, but am having trouble with my creative side.
My daughter, who is 12, is sitting with me and she suggested that I write about her loose tooth. It's one of her back teeth. The gum is swollen, the tooth is very loose, but stubbornly hanging by... maybe the root. I'm not sure though because I'm not fond of looking at it.
I told her I could get a pair of pliers or maybe the staple remover. She wasn't cracked up about my suggestions. My grandpa used to tie our tooth to a string and tie the other end of the string to a door handle. Then shut the door. Maybe that's where I learned to run so fast.
I don't really run fast now, but I remember flying like the wind to catch up to that door.
I love my grandpa and this is actually a fond memory of him, despite what I've conveyed. One other fun thing about my grandpa is that he used to call me "Buzz".
Well, he is now living with Alzheimer's which is a topic for a whole other time. One last thought for now, I pray for him, my grandma and for my aunts, uncles and other relatives who lovingly care for him. It's moments like right now that I wish I lived down the street from him instead of 8 hours away.
Not the post I set out to write, but it's the post that wrote itself.
