Love you too, Lady.

Ok, my little boy cracks me up (most of the time--although there are times when he can break me down too!) Last night I was telling him goodnight. Here's the conversation...

Momma: Goodnight, I love you sweet boy.

Little boy: I love you too, lady.

I'm not making this stuff up people.

This morning I tackled a LARGE mound of clean laundry. I asked little boy if he would please pull out the other basket of clothes from my room. He politely said, "I can't Mom, I'm busy." I replied, "Go now please." Then Marissa chipped in..."Hey, Trenton, I think there is a monster trying to get the clothes, run, go get them." First he grabbed his guitar--I wasn't sure if he was going to hit the 'monster' or sing to it. After some loud noises, he came running out, patting me on the shoulder, he said, "I got the monster away, honey. Honey, don't worry about that monster."

That was a load off my mind, now if he'd just bring out the laundry!

  1. I found your blog from your comment on Pleasant View SchoolHouse.

Isn't it fun having a place to record all the cute things our kids say and do? I'm a fairly new blogger - and just posted yesterday about my daughter's funny comments during a reading lesson.

I like your writing style :)
