A Snowy History Fair Day
Marissa presented her history project today at the fair. It was very snowy which I think played a part in many not being able to attend. However, the sweet lady (and her daughter) that is teaching her to sew came, and that was a big encouragement to Marissa.
Her topic was "How Events in History Influenced Women's Fashion in the 1900's". On her display board, she found pictures from each decade through the 1900's and placed them in a random pattern all over the board. Some of the websites she used for her research and pictures:I found some little hangers with clothespin clips at a great little store in a neighboring town. She used those to hang her title...shortened to 1900's History & Fashion. She did a great job and I'm proud of her!
